The Aftermath of Storm Eleanor

Only days after Storm Eleanor brought gale-force winds, we the UK are still feeling the aftermath. Tens of thousands of homes across the region were plunged into darkness, many travel services were disrupted after heavy rain and gusts of up to 90mph caused fallen debris.

It was reported on the Worcester News website that fallen trees had in-fact caused a number of road closures, there were also reports of people suffering injuries as a result of the horrific weather conditions.

We have been busy here at Right Cut Tree and Garden Services assisting customers in the aftermath of Storm Eleanor. From repairing blown down fencing to removing fallen trees and branches it seems that Storm Eleanor left a path of destruction across Worcestershire.

Hurricane Ophelia Batters Worcestershire

It’s 16th October 2017 and a yellow weather warning for wind and storms is in place across the county of Worcestershire. Worcestershire Is being battered by storms including heavy rain, thunder and lightning due to the backlash of hurricane Ophelia passing through neighbouring Ireland.

Damage to properties has already been reported across Worcestershire including damage to buildings due to fallen trees, and fallen trees obstructing roads, some flash flooding is also expected.
