Only days after storm Ophelia battered the UK, we are hit by yet another treacherous storm, storm Brian.
It has already been reported that trees have fallen, properties have been damaged,and there have been numerous power surges across the country which have in some cases sparked fires.
This terrible storm is set to leave more devastation across the UK including here in the Midlands over the next 24 hours.
The Met office has reported that many parts of the UK will remain under a yellow weather warning. Strong winds are expected until midnight this evening when the worst of the weather is expected to move up towards the end of the country and into Scotland.
